How to allow incoming connections

On this page you can find detailed information on how you can allow incoming connections at Windows Firewall. This is necessary to be able to receive MMS over MM7 protocol. Please follow the steps of this article to be able to use this solution properly.

To allow incoming connections, first you need to go to Control Panel at Start menu and click on Windows Firewall icon (Figure 1).

Figure 1 - Control Panel

At Windows Firewall, select "Exceptions" tab and click on "Add port..." (Figure 2).

Figure 2 - Exceptions

Finally, an "Add a port" window appears. In it, provide a name for the connection (for example "Ozeki MM7") and enter the port number (9400) in the respective fields (Figure 3).

Figure 3 - Add a port

In this way, you have allowed incoming connections on port 9400.

Please note that 9400 is the default port number of the HTTP server. This port number can be changed if it is requested.
