Manual uninstallation
This guide gives information about how the software can be uninstalled
manually. Normally you will not use this information, because the software
can be handled as any other .msi installation package.
Step 1.) Stop the service
Start -> Run -> services.msc
Stop the Ozeki NG - SMS Gateway service
Step 2.) Unregister the service
Start -> Run -> cmd.exe
cd "C:\Program Files\Ozeki\OzekiNG - SMS Gateway"
InsSrv.exe uninstall OzekiNG
close the command shell
Note: if InsSrv.exe is not in the directory, you can download it from this
location: InsSrv.exe
Step 3.) Delete the application directory
Use windows explorer to delete this directory:
C:\Program Files\Ozeki\OzekiNG - SMS Gateway
Step 4.) Delete the uninstaller from the registry
Start -> Run -> regedit.exe
Open the following key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall
Browse through the subkeys. One of the subkeys will be referring to Ozeki NG
My subkey was: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{4B91020D-9242-4E00-96A0-ACA2E0447FFB}
Delete this subkey!
Step 5.) Delete the installed product entry from the registry
Start -> Run -> regedit.exe
Open the following key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products\
Browse through the subkeys. One of the subkeys will be referring to Ozeki NG
My subkey was: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products\D02019B4242900E4690ACA2A0E44F7BF
Delete this subkey!
